Winter Handling
Hi Everybody!
First post here.
Am I insane for even thinking about trading out of my '06 BMW 325xi?
It's nice but it is underpowered and small. The AWD is sweet.
I drive about 35,000 miles a year, highway, city, and especilly country...open roads with ice, snow and blowing snow.
I'm 44, so RWD isn't new to me. I had a 325i two winters ago, and the traction control kept kicking in, and I'm impatient and got pissed off, so I traded it for a Legacy Turbo, which I hated, hence the new Bimmer.
My wife has a 2002 X5 which we use for towing our horse trailer to shows in the summer.
I love the Charger and most everything about it. The Hemi, as much as I lust for it, would drain me financially both at purchase and at the pumps (especially the way I drive!!). I'm thinking the 3.5l would be my best compromise.
How do these cars handle in the snow, of course with dedicated snow tires....
