2006 Charger Convertible

Too bad. DC would sell a boat load more if this were a factory option.
Any idea on the cost for a job like that?

I like the CONCEPT of a 4-door convertible. Reminds me of the days driving in my uncle's Olds-98, but I digress.
With the black Charger photos, I really like the grille work and wheels better than the silver Charger.
I agree wiht 74scamp, however, that the B-pillar isn't quite right.
And I think that the rear boot treatment is lacking. Part of it is because of the ridge line that the flows from th rear-quarter panels. This curve makes this large sedan appear more coupe-like.
With respect to resale value, Zedd was right on the mark! It's folly to think that cars are precious INVESTMENTS. They are not. While we may drool over the prcie that some cars fetch at Barrett-Jackson, what they don't show you is how many cars also get sold for less than the owners have poured into them. When I bought my Daytona it wasn't with a mindset that someday it would bring big bucks on the auction block, nor do I intend to leave it undriven under glass in a climate-controlled garage. I bought the Daytona: (1) to kick the snot out of would-be pretenders; (2) to keep domestic tranquillity since a coupe isn't in the family game-plan yet; and (3) the LX-platform is a very comfortable car on the road.
I've had my car exactly one month, and have logged 3500miles. I don't intend to slow down, or dirve less!!
Now having agin being very long-winded, the bottom line is this:
IT'S YOUR CAR!!! Do with it what makes you happy, and never mind how we geet our jollies!
Have fun and enjoy this wonderful car!

Thanks TB102,
I love my cars and waste many thousands of dollars on them while I own them. To be honest my cars are my number one recreation. Some people spend thousands on motor homes, vacations, boats et al. My business doesn't allow me much free time so I spend it on my cars and the small free time I have to work on them and drive them. When I switch to the next generation I never lament the money I spent upgrading them because I always have an absolute blast driving them. As an aside.. This is also why you will never hear me bitch about gas prices. If I can afford to own and mod a car like this, I can afford whatever fuel it takes to enjoy it.
