The results are in and I hate to be the one to announce this...but, the Mustang was faster than the Charger. However, the Mustang had nothing in it, no room, no "bells and whistles", nothing, just motor and looks. It would do 0-60 in 4.9 seconds.

In any case, I would pick the Charger over the Mustang any day!!!

 

I get the most stares from Mustang owners! The Charger is flat out the better car. If you want the same car as half of America and dont mind the cheap interior and uncomfortable ride get the Stang. If you want a car that people notice and scares the **** out of Ford owners get The Charger!

 

See if you can drop 500lbs off the Charger then try again....

Part of the problem is the curb weight of the Charger. The 'stang is a lighter car. But then you're trying to compare apples and oranges when you put up a pony car to a 4 door sedan.

Now, let's see whose faster when the Challenger comes out in '08. I think Mustang owners will be in for a rude awekening.

Why drop 500lbs? Which would you rather be in a front crash with? They are two totally different cars your right. Thats why I think the Charger is more vehicle for the money. Life isnt the quarter mile. Ive owned both a GT and the R/T. Buy the Mustang and feel a lot like Vette owners. Nice but not worth the price!
