Drop American Racing a line. The more that ask, the better the chances of getting what we like. I asked them about it but they don't do our bolt pattern in the TorqThrust II's. Yet. I did some cut and paste and those things look sick on the charger. Kinda old school muscle meets new tech. I agree about the fake rivets and other frou-frou. Makes the wheel look too busy.

Haven't seen the "new" Crager SS yet. Would be interesting to see it in person. Sometimes the pics don't do things justice. Still prefer the American Racing look to the Cragar but who knows.

I've been thinking about chroming the shiny parts of my stock wheels and redoing the insets with satin black powder coat. That would give depth to the shiny parts and the black would be more durable. Same design but more bling.

Is it possible to put differeent size rims and tire widths on a dodge charger?

Why not give the car a rake look for example. 20's on the back with wide tires and 19's on the front w/ 19's and thinner tires?

I think it woud give the car a more hot rod look?

The main problem with different size tires front and rear is that since so many performance tires are directional now, you would not be able to rotate your tires at all without dismounting them. Right now I can at least rotate front to back as they stay on the same side of the car.

That would be my concern also Zedd, not being able to rotate. If it's not a concern that would be a cool look.

By the way Zedd please leave your address. Just Kidding I need to come by and borrow those Cragars! Those things just ROCK. I have justified them to those in power... me ... but have to save up the Hemi Bucks.

i was looking at a set of american racer wheels it is black 5 spoke with a slight crease down each spoke and with a trip to the paint shop you could highlight the crease with a yellow and color the rivets yellow as well that would look super hot.

I think it would look really cool too.

Wont have the jack until bonus time in Feb 2007. I am budgeting 5k for it.

So that project is on hold.

Don't forget about HAL. The two different rotational speeds of the different sized tires would drive the ABS and ESP bats#t. If you want rake, try lowered front springs.

That is one HELL of a good point Redbeard. I hadn't even thought of that when I made my decision to keep my wheels all the same.
