Default Charger on a diet?

These cars are fairly heavy. Has anyone here done anything to lighten their HEMI chargers? Also another completly off topic question, does Dodge offer military discounts? I know companies like ford offer a $500 military discount.

Default RE: Charger on a diet?

I'm not sure how much poundage can be chopped off the Charger. The body is tightly integrated w/the frame; it's difficult at first just finding good jack points. Guess I got a start by putting a fiberglass hood on.

Specifically I don’t think there are military discounts. I don't know if you want to go into a dealership talking discounts. Tipping your hand may be to their benefit. Get them to rock bottom then ask about any discounts their running, trimming delivery fees, etc... Get "bought at the bank" first and go in with that on the table.

Good luck.
