Stealerships lose =(
Ive read pretty much every post in here, since I got my R/T, and I've noticed that alot of people seem to have problems with thier dealerships.
Today I went to get the SRT Rear Fascia, grill insert (Hexagon pattern) and Daytona spoiler installed. I was told previously it would take a lil over 2 hours to do. When I showed up (i have to drive out of town to get to a dealer) they told me it would be more like 6 hours to do. So much for the day I had planned. So anyway, after walking around the town for a few hours, I came back and saw the holes being drilled for the spoiler. I was happy! Then...I saw the spoiler. Its flat black =(
My car is midnight pearl black or whatever, so the spoiler looks very aftermarket. When I asked in Parts&Service, I drew blank looks from them, as they couldnt understand why it wasnt painted. Now I get to go out of town again, on another day off, to go get it painted =(
Anyway, Ill post a pic of the new stuff when the rain goes away :P

Does this dealer have a body shop?
If not, see if they will let you get it painted in your home town - at thier expense.
Then it will save you a trip.
But if they have thier own body shop - they definately won't go for that idea.

Mines not a daytona, just an R/T. I was told it was gonna be painted when I ordered it, more like the SRT8 than the Daytona
Either way, the service guy sounded like it was gonna be free, so im happy now
As for painting it here, I live in a town of 7500 people and I really dont think id trust the guys who paint here!
