Well most modern V8 mustangs will take a stock hemi charger. But just with a superchip and cold-air intake you can stick with any stock mustang other then a 03-04 cobra and the 07 GT500.

 

maybe on paper but on the road i'll argue with that.
just a cai. is good enough.
when doing 35 mph next to one another the mustang has no chance
3rd gear will for sure get going the gt mustang.

I can't find a Mustang that want's to try it around here, I guess it's the HEMI Decal on the hood that scares them off.

Mine don't shift to third until about 87 if I leave it in D (ESP off) and floor it. Are ya short shifting so you won't embarrass the Mustang too much??

no, no short shift , i just know that third gear is better in the charger than the mustangs. now first gear is where the mustang get it's jump.
but once i get in gear SEE YA ,
third gear is a better gear getting to it before he gets to far ahead of you is the key. sometime's i'll catch in second. third is the best gear in these cars. never run her in 5th gear she lose speed when she wind up at about 5400-5700.
