Newbie question...Best Intake for Daytona?
Lookin to buy a higher flow intake for my Man Go Daytona # 3067. WHat's the best one to buy for higher performance. I don't really care how much it costs or whats the better value, I just want to start customizing my Charga. I figure this is the first upgrade I should make.

well if by intake you mean a cold air intake you realy have only 2 choices 1 the mopar intake looks a little more oem .then you have kn agressive intake model 64 thats what im running and it is awesome as far as expense goes there really isnt a big money issue there all around 250-300 .just remember with more air going in it needs a larger hole to go out of ,i like the analogy of trying to put 5 pounds of sausage in a 4 lb bag .
Here's the K&N on e bay for about 200 shipped, just bought mine from there and love the performance and sound, installs in about 30min. They're about 250 to 300 buck anywhere else.

Welcome LamL to the forum,
I have the K&N 63 series cold air intake, although some have the Mopar intake, some have others. However, the K&N and Mopar are open-end filter units that really increase the air flow to the engine. I get over 25+ MPG on the highway with my Mango Daytona. I recently went on a 4,000 mile trip to CA from MN and averaged overall 23+. Not bad for a Hemi with the air on and three big guys with a trunk full of luggage. My next purchase was a Jet 2 chip for a bit more performance for around $200-$250. Some guys like the SuperChip for around $500, but I haven't been impressed with the performance price difference. I'm sure someday, they'll have the program dialed in...
3767 did have a good point about what goes in must come out and to look at exhuast someday... but, my friend, THAT is a different story! (The stock exhuast isn't bad and keeps the dreeded DRONE noise out when the engine is in the 4 cylinder MDS mode).
Have fun with your car!
