im having a serious problem with my jba headers
well maybe its not a serious problem but its still a problem the install on the headers went great but c cant get the screw for the dip stick in it about 2 inches away from the engine sways front to back ,i have a left over spcer thats about 2 inchs as well .if some one who has installed jba headers can give me a tip a very detailed tip on how to do it i would be greatly appreciative.i currently have it held in place with a tie wrap, needless to say im not thrilled with the idea.
Did the information in this thread not help? just installed jba exaust
There isn't a "screw" for the dip stick tube. The bracket goes over the bolt on the left pictured in the thread link above and a nut holds it on. If that header bolt was put in the wrong bolt hold that's the issue. I'm 100% sure that is the issue.
I'll jackup my car this evening and snap a picutre that area for you.

Here are some pics from underneath the car looking up at the oil filter and front tip of the passanger side header.
In the first pic the yellow arrow is pointing to the bolt and nut were the Dip Stick tube attaches (close up).
In the second pic there are three arrows:
Red - Dip Stick Tube
Green - Bracket from Dip Stick Tube, it bends over to the studed bolt.
Yellow - OEM studed header bolt w/spacer and nut where the Dip Stick Tube Bracket attaches.

While I don't have the jba problem. I can say that I appreciate MangoInTX going the extra two miles to snap some photos, mark them up and post them. You are a top notch guy. Best regards, Aaron
