Default New Flashpaq update

I think there is a new update available, haven't loaded it in the car yet. Anyone else confirm this or try it yet?

I just plugged in and ran the software. It appeared to update the software on my PC and there was an update available for the flashpaq. There are still two flavors one with and w/o Data Acquisition.

The description for the update was:
"Dodge 5.7L HEMI PN 3825 - Update with Data Acquisition
Released 7/17/06 This Data Acquisition package allows users to view and record vehicle speed and times, such as 0-60 and quarter mile. This update if for use with the Dodge Charger RT (06), Magnum RT (05-06); Chrysler 300C (05-06)"

After updating the flashpaq shows the version is still 1.04 and the data base is 56 <= the DB must have changed or they re-released 1.04.

I forgot to check the data base # prior to installing. If someone w/a virgin 1.04 update install could check and post up the data base # it would be appreciated.

Is it just me or am I missing something on update information? It seems to be a sad fact that SuperChips doesn't provide good information about update releases. [:'(] Hey SUPERCHIP TUNER, if you read this post please shead some light on this for me?

Yes! I think we would all appreciate a little more info on when new updates are available AND what they are supposed to do.

Thanks for the post Ron!

I hate to be a burden but the main issue wasn’t addressed. SC hasn’t done well with communication. I’m sure SC keeps good documentation about version or DB update information. Does SC publish update information (via the web page or automatic e-mail list)?

At least now I know that I have more stock files, which raise the question did I really need to down load it and update the cars flash with it?

Thanks again for reading and any providing feedback.

You do not have to load them everytime but they will be there if you ever have to go back to the dealer for a reprogram to the vehicles computer.
Their is a section called supported tuners and there is where you will find the notes on the changes.

Sweet, thanks Ron.

It took me a little while to find the right page but I got there.

The information is a bit dated, it was last updated 6/14/06 @ v1.02 3825 DB revision 51, but hey I now know where it is.
