the majority have k&n model 63 or 65 some have the mopar ,doesnt really matter which there all good if you have service problems mopqr would be better then kn simply because they cant say there products void warrantys
I have the Mopar CAI on my R/T. I love the sound, and I noticed some improvement in gas mileage and performance, too. Of course, I added an aftermarket exhaust (which I probably wouldn't do now having considered everything that others have done) so I can't say it was the CAI alone that gave me the improvements.

ChargerV8,
I have a Mango Daytona model with a K&N 63 series CAI and love the sound at WOT. Not quite like a good old fashioned four barrel on a big block, but still sounds good. I have a Jet 2 chip installed and between the two I get 25+ on the road and run a 14.07 quarter time just punching it from a dead stop in "D".
Back to the CAI, it was easy to install, is pretty much the same as the Mopar model. I took several hours and opened up a 3" area on my driver's side radiator's plastic air ram to allow fresh air to get to the filter. Even though it is hot out, the chrome top remains much cooler than the air tube, and even in pouring rain, it doesn't get wet.
Enjoy the car.

To get the best results you need to open up the exhaust as well. To pull in more air, you need to be able to exhaust it. I put on my K&N first and the change was noticable but not earth shattering. When I had the Borlas installed, the car really came alive. I left the shop where I had the exhaust installed and promptly hit 100 halfway down the on ramp to the freeway before I realized how fast I was going. That was one of those Oh $#it - OH YEAH moments. I'm still chewing on whether or not to do headers - the car is strictly for street use but . . . We'll see what happens after I get the medical bills for my "suspension upgrade".
