Default Corsa SRT-8 exaust on a 5.7

did anyone try to install the corsa srt8 exauzt on the 5.7 Hemi.Im woundering how that would sound?

P.S. if so can ya get r sound clip

I haven't seen anyone try this, the SRT8 exhaust is 3". It might sound good but at near stock+ HP I bet there would be too much flow and low end torque would be lost.

06Hemiazy,

MangoInTX is right. The 6.1 exhaust system will not fit the 5.7 system. Sure you can alter the smaller 2" pipes and fit on the larger SRT pipes with a welder and pipe expander. The headers are completely different as are the heads.

But, if you decide to stuff the big boys under the car in a cat-back configuration, let us know how it goes!

This depends on the headers but I know the Dynatech headers have a 3" collector... so if you can get 3" CAT and midpipes your cooking with that setup.
