Now just out of curiosity, and this would be for educational purposes only of course, Does anyone know where a curious person like myself could download the iso file that someone might have already "un-done the in-motion block" so that all that I would have to do is burn it to a DVD?

This of course would not be to get a copy of the new DVD without paying for it. It would of course be so I can learn more about checksums and programming. (that should solve the legal side of any of you answering me with a download location)

My wife got an Aspen a couple of weeks ago and it included an "AE" disk.

I also need to get a backup of the latest disk.

NAVTEQ lists AG as the current version which was released this month. I'll let you know once I find it

Navteq provides the Nav DVD for Honda also. Does anyone know if a disk from a Honda will work in a Dodge?

NAVTEQ have it broken down into sections by manufacture/model/year. I don't know how interchangable they are.

Yeah I checked the web site. I was wondering about the interchangeability of them because I have a connection at a Honda dealership to get their most recent update.

Unhappy Confused

I literally just purchased a Dodge Nitro last friday and this Navteq GPS is crazy. It does not recognize where I am, I put in McDonalds and I ended up in the middle of a residential neighborhood which made me frightened to ask for directions and when I went to go to the library I ended up at a rec center. Is it me or does this thing just suk. How do I fix it?

First check to insure it's calibrated, is your car correctly placed on the map after it starts up? If not there is a procedure to calibrate it.
