I know some of you's must think im crazy cause I get very little feed back on my postings,So I keep a box of Kleenex next to the keyboard. After talking to the hood company a 2 other companys I was informed the yes it's ram air but not pressurized unit. So since it sends air from the scoop to a receiveing tube to your CAI.Thiers really no big improvement. Now if the company your useing is a pressurized setup then your getting all the ponies you payed for.Has any one tryed to pressueized thier CIA inside from the box to the intake tube your self? I installed my CAI ubit a few days ago and after doing it and talking to the hood company I would thing thats a inexspensive way of getting real ram air.

What would be the best way to pressueize between the CIA box and the intake tube? Are you talking about some kind of a fan between thm?

if you were to place the filter in the stock box and cut a hole on the bottom were the feed tube you could ram the air in that way. I saw that idea from a dealer also who is selling a CIA with the filter sealed in the box with a clear lit on top to keep an eye on the filter. This site could use an Im/ to respond to someone instant instead of waiting to receive feed back via posting. or maybe a msn group to join ( Chargers are us ) ?

KO, we're on the same page. I did something like that prior to getting the intake for the RAMAIRHood. Ran 4" duct from the front/lower driver side corner of the radiator shroud to the bottom of the airbox and it was sealed.
