Default Suspension problem

Hi everyone,

I just bought a Charger RT and love it except for one thing I'm noticing; the suspension feels like it bottoming out on the right side when I go over any kind of bump or dip in the road. I get a kind of 'knocking' sound thats got me concerned. Is this normal or should I bring it in and have it looked at? Any info on this would be greatly appreciated or anyone who's had a similar problem.

Thanks

Sure does! There is, I believe, a problem with the standard R/T shocks. The shocks in the Road & Track package, which brings a standard R/T up to Daytona specs, are different and apparently work much better. The valving in the standard shocks is really messed up. I find it hard to believe that DCX would actually release the standard R/T with these shocks.

Take it in to your dealer and tell him what's going on. The replaced my fronts and it helped, but the valving is still not right - too harsh at the beginning of the stroke, and too soft mid to end of stroke. Good luck.
