Sorry Bud don't know any on the right coast. However, beware of anyone willing to do this kind of work cheap. Gotta pay to play and if they aren't confident enough in their work to charge fairly premium rates, they won't touch my cars at least.

i agree to cheap and you get what you pay for .very true, but at the same time ive paid guys a very good premium and the work is barley upto par.i guess what im saying is that just because an individual charges a lot doesnt mean its going to be done well either.also if you happen to find a guy that knows what he is doing and hopfully charges decently thats perfect .example cam install an all day job yes but is install worthy of 1200 no of course not .just looking for a combo of competance and well priced not to be confused with over priced.i guess looking for that combo is like looking for an honest lawyer.

Very true. Expensive doesn't meant good necessarily. What I was trying to say that all of the places I have trusted my cars to were very highly reccomended but I have yet to find a cheap extra high quality shop.

I sure wish you luck man. I am dying to hear how your car runs afterwards. Your proposed mods are very sound. Myself, I am leaning towards forced induction but I am not completely sold upon that either. My concern is the tranny and rear eand however. I am fairly convinced the engine can handle it. Even Dodge is saying the engine is good for what, 450k in hard service? In ultra hard service I can't see it dying before 100-150k which is plenty for me. I'm not saying it can't be killed by over reving or anything rediculous like that. I mean in safe sane but hard use.

TB,

Give the guy at HighHorsePerformance a call. He's pretty well wired in that area and may have some ideas for you. 888-894-1115

I agree with the rest. If your looking for professional craftsmanship, you have to demand it up front, negotiate the price & settle for nothing less. Don't be passive in the least when explaining your expectations during the first conversation with your service partner. Get it all in writting or get another partner. Ethical people won't mind standing behind their work, or charging you a fair price for superior service.
