Default TSB

Rolled my car out of the garage to clean her and I discovered 2 big spots of tranny fluid. Is there a TSB for the transmission on the 5.7?

I noticed the car shifting funny last week when I stomped on her. It was sliding into gear and not shifting hard.

ANy ideas?

There seems to be a rash of Magnum/300/Chargers w/the 5.7 engine having this issue. Apparently it's a O-ring on the 13 pin adaptor on the side of the tranny.

I looked up and didn't find any TSBs on this issue. Here is where I did the lookup Here is where I did the lookup.

Sorry, but you should take it to a dealership and they should fix it without any hassle.

Thanks for the info.

She goes in tomorrow am.

I am also going to have them fix the trunck rubbing.

Apparently Chrysler is saying the spoiler in causing too much dwn force. I think it is just the bushings.

They say you should never need to check the tranny fluid unless it is leaking.I called about a week ago and questoned them aboit it.They told me all the auto manufactures are going that way.

I just checked the Magnum Section, there's quite a few tranny leaks over there also. DCX should put this to bed w/a TSB [&:]

Have you tried turning the rubber bumper/stops around? If not, try turning them around 180 degrees so the tall side is facing outward. I used a pair of big plyers to do mine.
