geek out there knows how to unlock theNAV to play dvd movies?? it has to be possible somehow some way.....Let me know thanks

Welcome bones06rtcharger. No confuser geek has broken it yet that I'm aware of.

The only way that I understand that it can be done is by using an external DVD player. Apparently the unit has an electrical "switch" on the back, In other words apply 12 VDC to it, and it enablesa video input, also on the back. The idea was to install a camera in the rear bumper for backing up the car. As far as I know, if you connected a switch to the input, and a video source to the video input, you could be in business.
Sorry I do not have the wiring diagram, but I have seen one floating around the Charger boards...

No Hack for DVD playback yet. There are a fewcompanies modifying the nav fro between $250 and $400 so it has an RGB connection hanging out the back. People are using that for DVD playback and a backup camera.
