Default New tuning Software

I talked to Southern HotRod 2day also,I asked if there was anyting else coming out.(If none have you has ever talked to Edwin you should this guys great). He says keep looking on their site there is suppose to be some new tuning software due to be out.Its gonna work like the SC kinda. You will be able to get ahold of him tell him yo got headers, cam, heads and he will shoot you a tune VIA internet and there you go.Kinda like SC but a lil more of Im guessing maybe we could have a bit more control ? Dont quote me on that but I think thats the best sounding news out there for us 5.7 guys.He says it coming HANG IN THERE ! Me I think someone is totally on the brink of CRACKING THE HEMI wide open.

I agree. Edwin is a straight forward, stand-up guy. Really great to talk to. I'm confused, though. New tuning software, but not for the SC? Is that what he's saying?

Sounds like a SuperChip type back box w/custom tunes. In the beginning that's what the SuperChip wanted to do... we'rewaiting.

I think your right Marty, this is going to be a fun year. The car's been out there long enough and vendors see the market value in providing performance stuff for it.

After trading in my 03 RAM Hemi I saw all sorts of performance stuff coming out for it. We're on the verge of being in that same position.

Okay -- on that note, I will have to wait to see what this is before investing in a superchip/FP. I had come to the conclusion, after about 10,000, that this car could be soooo much faster without the current constraints. I was saving for a tuner, but this sounds like a next gen kinda deal.

Heck, it's winter here anyway -- do I really need an extra 30 horses right now?

Yea, but I'll wait nevertheless....

Thanks for the info!
