There are two that I know of:
1 CTS <edit> Creative Turbo Systems (<= I believe that's what CTS stands for)
2 Hennessey (<= I believe his setup ripped apart the differential on the 10 run. Oops back to the drawing board. Good news... it wasn't thetranny flying apart)

all of this talk about performance engines makes me wanna go put a ****load of money into my truck. i know its only a 4.7 but with the right work i could make it outrun pretty much all hemis unless theyve been heavily modded.

We have nothing against the 4.7 and you’re more then welcome to join the chatting around here. We do a lot of jawing round here

The RAM QC a bit heavy for the 4.7 but it's still a nice setup. Take you time and look around for the parts to beef up your engine, you'd be surprised what you can pick up for a decent price.

Unless you find an aftermarket engine computer you will not be able to use either one. In order to regulate the fuel to the increased inlet pressure, you will need to retrofit a Mass Airflow Sensor, and the necessary programming to allow it to work. I have it on good authority that until this hurdle has been crossed, you will be making a costly investment in a timebomb. The 5.7 L uses an Manifold Absolute Pressuresensor which looks up fuel delivery and timing adjustment from a table. This also known as a Speed Density form of measurement. By transitioning from a vacuum to positive pressure of a boosted sytem you totally and utterly confuse the engines ability properly adjust the necessary parameters.

The proper choice for Supercharged or Turbocharged is C.) None of the above.

Agreed, these systems need a tune and they will come w/one kinda like GSMs superchargers did scary thought.

The CTS folks have been road testing their setup for some time with good results; still I'm wishing their setup much luck, more than GSM had

Keep watching, I believe that we will be able to get the Charger computer system dialed in this year, I'd bet money on that.

interesting debate but if i understand ix right putting in either setup .will only cause the engine to explode because of a sensor or program .i only ask because krc performance has told me that wheni get the instalation done on the car with there supercharger setup,he deals with a guy in maine who will custom tune the whole car cumputer perefectly does this address what you are refering to ix?

Just my opinion, once they get going, either can put equal stress on the internals it a matter of how the initial power is applied.

Not directed at anyone: Don't go into boosting blind, either way you boost (NO2/Supercharger/Turbo/Squirrels in a cage ) the added performance will take it's toll sooner or later so be ready to pay if you want to play.
Agreed youll want to go fogred, beef up the lower end really good.Stay away from HIGH COMPRESSION or you will blow the heads right off that girl..I had this discussion with a co-worker,"he said when you start putting the power to it its like bumping up your compr.to 17:1 or higher"He knows what hes talking about hes done several cars and trucks.I watched a guy blow the heads off his Harley with 10:1 compression and a 50shot of NOS ina dyno shooot out we were competeing in.

yep exactly with the new pistons i have there forged and dished and anodized and will do 2 things repell the heat generated and drop the compression from 10.1 to about 8.5/to 1 so the engine can handle the power .

thanks, glad to know im welcome. i read all the time in here but only post on occasion when i think i have something that might be useful to add.

i agree the ram is pretty heavy for a 4.7 but it still gets up and goes pretty good. the power out put isnt THAT low, but its certainly nothing to brag about. im coming up on 35k miles and the only problem ive had is that i think my power steering pump may be goin out, but otherwise no complaints.

i was goin to buy a charger when i turned 18, but for my lifestyle i need a pickup, so thatll have to wait, but i do love yalls chargers.
