Well, I took my first long ride with my new Charger this weekend....and it was a blast...The trip was about 166 miles each way (Delaware>Long Island,NY)

Anyway, some observations..:

1) Love the Navigation infor in the EVIC....shows arrows and stuff...My Jaguar has this, but only words, no Icons.....

2) Forgot to use "Route Options" on the Nav, and it was totally avoiding highways...took me about 15 minutes to know why...(I know where I was going..just wanted to test out the Nav..)

3) The Uconnect..it's a great thing, and an awesome option. However, when you are listening to the stereo at a high volume(of course..) don't forget you had it that way when the phone call is over.....I nearly had the S**T scared out of me....why did Dodge not put a slowly moving volume 'up' feature.....(for those who are laughing...I am sure it has happened to you!)

4) The cruise control stick is a joke.........directionals vs. cruise control...what a pain...I guess it's something I will get use to...

5) I noticed sometimes that the cruise control light will flicker on/off really quick when accelerating....this was local driving, and cruise was off.....odd.

6) Love the seats in the Road & Track package......my back felt great. Glad I went with this option.

7) The 4cyl....to 8cyl thing was flawless....never could tell it was in 4cyl mode....I kept checking the EVIC when it stated "Fuel Saving Mode" just to verify....

8) I avg'd about 23mpg on this trip.......WoW! a 350hp engine with 23mpg...not bad!

That is all...for now...just wanted to share........car now has 570 miles!

4 It is different, but you will get used to it. Someone will not jump in the car and know how to use it, it's not intutive.
