Default RE: Viper TEC Question

IMHO Coming from the school of hard knocks I'm not into certifications. I'd rather talk to the person and w/a few pointed questions/answers you will know what level they are at.

I’ve seen too many people w/a mountain of certs but they couldn’t do squat. A lot of those people can memorize information on demand so the tests were no issue for them, but they had no idea how to tie it all together on real world problems. I’m not saying all w/certs are that way and some certs are better tested w/real world problems than others.

Get some more details like how long has this person be certed, this will tellyouhow much real experience they have outside the cert.Ask a few questions about your install and how they would handle it, then with your gut feeling.
