Default Gear swap?

Hey guys!About 2 weeks ago I purchased an 06' Charger R/T. Mods so far are K&N CAI, Jet stage 2 chip, 180 stat, airaid throttle body spacer and JBA cat back exhaust. I previously owned an 03 Mustang GT with basically every imaginable bolt-on part I could buy, including changing out the stock 3.23 gears with 3.73 gears. This change made a big difference! What I wanted to know was: what the stock charger r/t gear ratio was, and next, has anybody changed out the gears in their charger? Also, if they have, where did they find out what ratio's are available and where?Has anyone seen any underdrive pulleys for a 5.7?Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Default RE: Gear swap?

Welcome Dailydrivr.

2.82 rear ratio, 3.55 Final Drive Ratio. No bolt on gears yet for the Charger that play nice w/the PCM/TCM.

Underdrive pulleys have been causing vibration thats breaking the toner ring in the rear of the engine.

You have to keep in mind the mustang has been out for quite a while in different flavors and yes there are insaine amounts of bolt on's for them. The vendors are getting caught up on R&D turning the Charger you'll see many more mods this year.
