Power tapping
Being electronic and wiring challenged I’m looking for the best way to tap power on the Charger. I looking to support two taps one 30 and another 15 amp. Your thoughts/ideas would be appreciated.
I’ve been looking at busman, Streetwires and Painless Wiring products and go cross-eyed from all the possibilities.
Some of the things I’m pondering:
[blockquote]
Can an existing unused fuse be tapped?
Should an auxiliary fuse box be added?
Should I use in-line fuses and tap the battery post?
Should there be worry of spikes that might fry existing systems?
At what point should one worry about charging/overload issues?[/blockquote]

You know at least this way you shouldnt have any problems with any of the norm.things.If you do have problems with any of the new,it will be very easy to figure out why with all new stuff adn where to look

Ihear ya and am a firm believer in that technique.
