I am ready to make the SC programmer purchase and I remember reading somewhere that you need to know the build date of your car so you order the right one? I have an 2006 TB Daytona but I know it could have been made in 2005.

When you go to order the SC's it asks if you car is 05 -07.

Should I be looking into a different programmer and reccomendations?

 

As far as the SC I don't think the build date of the Chargers matters. On some of the Magnums it did but those were made before the Chargers.

FYI... look on the inside of the door by the latch, there should be a label there w/the build date.

I bet Ron, the superchips guy, will chime in on this thread.

 

I think Mango is correct -- shouldn't make any difference. Mine isan 06, but recently discovered that the engine was built under 05 specs - so to speak. When I ordered my SC, I just ordered one for an 06.

We do not offer a product for the 2007 cars yet. Any cars that are made after july 2006 will not work at this point. We are working on the 2007 cars now and they should be out in a month.

Oh ya 3825 is the part number, it doesn't matter what version or year. You just update the tuner when you recieve it and then it will be as new as if you bought it direct.

When I first got my tuner it wouldnt work on my car and it was an 06.I had to wait 3 weeks for them to finish the program,butim sure thats all fixed by now go get you one.Get ahold of Edwin @ southernhotrod I got mine at 365 shipped tomy door
