Dodge ChargerThe Dodge Charger. The car that made its competitors shiver in the 60's is reborn in 2006 into a sleek sedan that can still send the competition home wimpering, the Dodge Charger.
I just had the new Ipod adaptor installed. Not the FM modulated one but the one that plugs inline into the wiring behind the radio. I have the nav system and it work well so far. You do not lose any of the other functions. What happens is that the sat portion "hosts" the ipod and allows you to control the ipod through the radio controls and shows the data from the track on the radio screen whereas the FM modulated one does not. Still learing how to navigate with it so I'm not sure how smooth it is yet.
Hey Rugby,
Did you install the ipod adaptor, or did you have it installed? If you installed it, how hard was it to do? Also where did you get the adaptor from?
I had the local dealer install it. They charged me 2.5 hours labor for it. It is a Mopar part which you can get through the dealer. It sounds nice and clear much better than the FM ones.
