Looking for 1948 Dodge Truck Fenders
My father and I are restoring my grandfathers 1948 1/2 ton Dodge truck, the rear fenders have been cracked and soldered too many times to repair successfully so we're looking to buy new/used replacement fenders.
My father has found trailer fenders that "will work" but don't come down as far in the back as the Dodge fenders do. Does anyone know where I could find fenders for this vehicle?
This isn't ours, but is virtually identical (but in better condition) I'm just including it for visual reference.

If you could respond here or by email odd_little_animal@yahoo.fr that would be wonderful.
Thank you.

Yeah... I went down to San Felipe once down on the coast of Baja California about 3-400 miles. Drive around and you should see an old abandoned 40 something Dodge truck just chilling on the side of the main road into town.
