Hey, I have a 77 SWB 2wd. We are in the process of getting it back on the street but want to drop it a few inches. I wound up with what I think are the correct parts for the rear but the front end I am unsure of. Any suggestions other than heating the coils??? or possible parts from other vehicles such as spindles or springs?

I would not heat the coils,just cut one wrap off or go with lowering coils.

I had thought about that but was unsure. Is that how you lowered your truck? Yours is pretty close to how low I would like to go. Did you need to use a different control arm set-up? Or tie rods? to keep the wheels straight.

I used a new set of lowering coils for a newer truck and cut one full wrap off,thats all up front,no problems in any way.
