Default Help...save this truck 1978 d100

Ok, this is a long shot, and this is NOT a classified ad, this is NOT my truck. Last night, just before closing, a local self service yard put in a CLEAN 1978 D100 shortbed, V8, 3speed on the column. Truck is amazingly clean, speedometer reads 76,XXX, don't know if it's rolled over, but the front seat looks like no one ever sat in it, there's only 1 dent on the body (based on a quick inspection, they were closing and I had to leave). Engine, trans, wheels, ALL the parts are still on the truck. This yard will sell complete vehicles for $800, they open at 8AM PST, and I'm going to be there, I can't buy it, got no room for it, but it's a shame to see this truck get stripped out, someone could save it and have a VERY CLEAN rust free dent free little truck. If anyone wants to try to save it I can be reached at 818 481-8952 and I'll put you in touch with the yard, and handle the details. SOMEONE SAVE THIS TRUCK.

I checked with the yard, it's what they call "A Crusher", meaning they can't sell it complete, just parts. Here's what it looked like at 8AM this morning. By closing it was missing the grille, the radiator shroud, tail lights, dashboard, dash pad, glove compartment lid, door panels, radiator overflow bottle, side marker lights. It's in U Pick Parts in Sun Valley, NOT Pick A Part.

It's sad to see such a nice old truck go to waste.
