Newly Acquired 52 Dodge Coronet
Hello all, i just recently acquired a 52 Dodge Coronet and im thinking about restoring it. It doesnt run right now, but i think all it needs is a few new ignition parts and maybe a fuel pump. I was wondering if anyone knows what the cylinder layout is for L6 in there? Ive been told the firing order is 1-5-3-6-2-4. This would info would help greatly when i attempt to time it. Thanks in advance,

That is the correct firing order for the flat head six (cylinders numbered 1 thru 6 from front to back). If it's the original, it's probably the 230 cubic inch version. How's the rest of the car? Got any pics?
Its in pretty good shape, supposedly its just been sitting since 95. Compression is still good on the engine, and i think the fuel pump is still good, so im replacing all the major ignition parts. Thanks for the timing info. Here are a few pics.
