Thumbs up Inline micro fuel pump

Some where on here I posted a question about a Micro Inline Fuel Pump as a carb primer for my 82 Dodge 2 brl carb. I could never get a definate answer as to would it pump through a mechanical pump and does it have a pressure cut off switch in it. Well I bought one and mounted it near the gas tank as per instructions. It works very well and does not have the fuel pressure cut off, so If you don't switch it off it will run constant. I use it as a primer pump to fill the carb bowl. It is hooked to ignition so without they key on it doesn't run. I turn it on for one minute and then turn it off, pull my choke and give the gas pedal one pump and it starts right away. Now I don't have to crank and crank to get it to start. My neighbor is very surprised at how easy it starts after sitting for over a month. I just thought I would post this for other people who have questions about them. I paid 40.00 + tax for it here.

try a airtex (carter) fuel pump e84070. and a holley fuel pump safety switch 12-810. and just get rid of the manual pump. i put 100,000 miles on one of these pumps, and was still going strong
