1949 Wayfarer Business Coupe
First time Dodge owner and first Flathead Six, love the car, someon changed it over to 12V but firgot the ballast resistor so points burned up pretty quick....fresh rebuild on whole drivetrain and body, all new seals and glass, but sat for several years and now got to flush out the fuel system, and complete the 12V conversion. Do have a few questions though...... Is there a difference between the 6V points/condenser and 12V? What can I expect when it comes to gas mileage and drivability at todays speeds? and are there any mods that I can do to help these things? Thanks everyone............. any help is appreciated...........
