Default Floor Panel Project

Recently purchased another older model car for a really good price. First thing I always check are the floor panels. I noticed the floor panels in the front and rear have been replaced and sealed pretty good still. But it seems the Gentleman I bought the car from made some custom frames for the bucket seats that are in the front of the car but he forgot to seal around the bolts under the car and it has cost light rust in the front floor panels and on the rear panels because of a little water coming in from underneath. I was thinking about using either some kind of Undercoat or some kind of spray in bed liner and doing the entire floor with it. Was wondering what you all thought about this and if you could give additional advice. I can show pictures of what I am talking about if someone can tell me how to post them. Thank You.
