I saved a 1964 Dodge Sweptline from meeting it's fate this morning at the local junkyard,to the crusher.I went over to get a small part and seen it there.Looked it all over and fell in love with it.Looked it over and was in great shape.I know the owner and he said it was heading to the crush side.Looked at him and said I want it.He knows me very well,bought for $200.00 from the person that brought it in.Offered $500.00 for and he said deal and went over to my parent's place to borrow my dad's car trailer to transport it.No drivetrain in it and I do have a donor truck I can get the drivetrain out of it for it,a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 with the hemi.I know the donor truck runs good,a roll over.I am going to start working on in December and I am talking doing a red and white two tone paint job with black interior.Plus I plan tearing down the hemi from the 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 putting in high performance parts.

It's at my friend Larry's place right now,he is doing some body work to it and get it back tomorrow.Pulled the engine and transmission out of the donor truck tonight and did not cut anything at all.Plan to test fit the hemi drive train in it on Thursday and it goes back to Larry on Friday.
