Hey guys my name is Michael I have just been willed a 1960 Dodge standard cab flatbed I want to put the newest diesel engine possible without getting into Electronics and either a bully dog with a 4 speed or an Allison 6-speed would just kind of like some information on what you guys think would be the best diesel engine for an old Dodge truck and what would be the best direction to go needing a transmission as well the truck was give to me and about $10,000 to play with for essentially just a Powertrain drop me your ideas I'd like to know where to go from here thanks for your time you guys have a fabulous week

 

put a cummins(5.9) with a mercedes 6 sp(G56) in it---beef up the front end
