None better. What do you need to know. I've had a couple of trucks from that era and still have some manuals. Mechanically, Dodge didn't change much from yer to year. What's the series truck and how is it set up?
Have a 1947 dodge WC two wheel drive, bought in pieces, looking for something to help get them body back together, a break down of the body parts, gasket s and the body seals or weather stripping. Thanks
Okay, your truck is a later version of the 1939 T series trucks. Mechanically, parts are fairly easy to find as the basics were used in the M series Power Wagon. It's probably the same as my 1952 B-3-PW. The cab was used on those until 1968 for domestic sales. Kanter auto parts is pretty good with supplying parts, although they aren't cheap. I collect vintage repair manuals and parts catalogs. You can get those at swap meets. There are often antique book dealers there. Look at swap meets. Around here, there's a big one in Louisville in March. I can look around my storage area and see if I have anything.
Now, the cab on regular trucks was heavily changed for 1948. Mechanically, they didn't change much, the body though, was totally restyled
Get a regular digital camera. If you see one of these trucks, ask the owner if you can take pictures. Take many pictures. Phones take too long to take pictures. Look for repair manuals but also interchange manuals (Hollander comes to mind) and old collision parts books. Look for books with copyrights from 1948 to 1952. Maybe a little newer for the Hollanders.
I got to thinking (and now my head hurts.
) I did a quickie search on Ebay and there is some stuff there for your truck. There's even a brand new parts list. Like I said, Dodge didn't change much on these. There are several other books both military and Civilian.

Thanks, I’ve been looking on line, found a company that makes replacement patch panels, but I can not remember how I worded the search. Still looking for that one, Been talking to DCM Classic, they have helped.
