Default My 1950 Plymouth

Heres my Rat Rod, its a 1950 Plymouth Specical Deluxe. Just welded a Nove front clip on it. "Z" the Frame three inches to drop the front crossmember about an inch off the ground. Im using a camaro rear end, getting rid of the leaf springs and two linking it. gonna air bag the back for sure. The pic shows close to ride height, might come up a bit just so I can drive the thing around. Thinking of channeling it, but not sure yet. enjoy

Great stuff! My grandmother had a pink '46 Plymouth that she drove until the 1970's when the engine literally fell out of it.......

More pics here. I got the front fenders on to check if the wheels sit in the wheel wells. It turned out pretty good. I have to change the support in the side close to the grill cause its in the way of the new steering box. Last night worked some more on the frame and planned out how im 2 linking the rear end.

My dad bought it when he was a teenager for 25 bucks from some guy. He brought home and was going to build a hot rod. Instead he made the deadly mistake of getting mairried and having kids. Which is fine with fun HHAHAHAH. It was parked at my Grandpas for pretty much ever. I brought home and started to work on it. Should be a bad *** rat rod when im done.

My first car was a 1941 Oldsmobile with a flathead 6 engine. Looked pretty good and ran pretty good. Only work I did was a top end job on the engine. Bought it for $400, sold it a year later for $500............

Ok pics will be posted on Wed. The Car finally rolls ( when u push it of course) The two link bars are done and the camaro rear end rolls. Nothing is really lined up right now cause I still have to figure out if im gonna use the old saddles on the camaro or build new ones. It kinda lines up so maybe i can make them work and not have to screw around with that anymore. Its a good step cause the car hasn;t rolled out of my bay in like a year and a half. I pulled in the junker truck that im using the 318 motor and transmission for the plymouth. Should have it out on thursday night. Push the plymouth back in and mock it up for new motor/transmission mounts. I took some pics tonight but I don;t feel like downloading them cause its 2 in the morning. see ya
