I was wondering if anyone has put a big block Mopar engine in a late 1940s through late 1950s pickup. My truck is a 1953 ½ ton inline 6. I have the opportunity to buy a 440 engine and 727 trans. Do you think it would be worth the time, money, and effort. Let me know what you think. I am at the point in the project where I need to decide if I want to go for stock or hot rod.
