1937 Dodge question
Hey all, new here. Just searching the net and found this forum. I am looking at a 37 Dodge 4 door. Unrestored. Partly disassembled, guy started the restoration, but had a stroke so his family is selling it. It runs, has all parts and 5 new unmounted wide whitewall tires. New uninstalled headliner. Body is solid. He's asking $1,900. Just curious if anyone knows if this is a decent price. Said he's slightly negotiable. I thinks it's a decent deal. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!!!
Back in my younger days, I redid a 1941 Oldsmobile. It took a couple of years, but the car I bought for $400 ended up paying for my college education when I sold it. I'd go for it....[&:]
Hi carguy64 - this is an answer to yours and another question. I'm considering a claimed-to-be 1935 Dodge 4-door sedan - the asking price is equivalent to U$3750. That's an answer to your question. It's in Thailand and the asking is Bt1,500,000. No doubt it will come down !
My question is - how can I be sure what model - or even make - this car really is ? There's no paperwork and no plates and no I/D at all.
I would post a photo but when I tried "Embed picture in post" on the newby section of DF, I was told "it's too large". I'm trying again here but it doesn't work too.
