So last night I went to the drive in with my girlfriend and we decided it would be a good idea to get some old blankets and make the pick-up bed comfortable. There is no window at the back window allowing us to hear the sound so i open up the doors a little so the speakers were pointing backwards. As you all know with the keys in and the door open you get that annoying beeping telling you to shut you door. In the past I have always just pushed that latch forward in the door to fool the car into thinking the doors are closed stopping the alarm. Normally all you need to do is open the door using the handle to reset the door to open then you can close it for real. My problem is that I have set the latch to close but it won’t come open again with the door handle and I am unable to close my door!
Does anyone know a trick to solving this problem?

use a screw driver and click it back hold the handle
