Default Hey Guys!

Well I am a fairly new member, making only a few posts so far. I usually don't get to involved with forums, but I have found this one to be pretty interesting and helpful to read. It's also very nice to actually get good responses from people. I will definately be sticking around!

I bought my first dak around december 06 and have loved it so far. It is an 04 SLT 4x4 w/4.7 and is really fun to mess around in. I hope to add some modifications as soon as I can. Hopefully next month I will start with some rotors and pads. I know this isn't a really 'neat' mod, but they are warped and need the most attention first. I will post a link later if anyone needs/wants it, but I found some good drilled and slotted rotors on eBay (from a retail seller that runs products through eBay) for around $200 for all 4. A buddy of mine put some on his Jeep and loves them, so that is definately next on my list.

That is a nice looking truck. (But, no offense, you have to work pretty hard to make these trucks not look nice!)

As a general automotive rule, I'd stay away from the slotted/drilled rotors. Just go to AutoZone and get the Duralast ones. They are cheaper and actually work. Slotted/drilled is just a gimmick on street cars.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing about the price, but I looked up the rotors at Autozone and O'Rileys and they were about 50 bucks a piece for stock duralast. I just figured go with the slottted and drilled if its going to be the same price. Unless I was reading the site around and Autozone was selling them in pairs.
