Anyone do one of these. I picked up a new one and was wondering what i am in for. I hear the second gens are really bad.

These are like a hot piece of pie.You gotta pull the refrigerant out first.5 screws on the top of the dash,pull both kick panels off disconnect thebolts,one on each end of the dash panels.pull the steering column down,2 bolts one bolt in the center of the truck,disconnect the radio and heater connectors,and the a/c vacuum hose connector at the drivers right foot area.presto its out!Disconnect the a/c hoses,heater hoses 4 bolts at the outer fire wall,and the box is loose! Slide the right side of the dash back as far as you can and slide the a/c heater box out.* hours tops for your first time
