Default remote starters

im wondering about getting a remote starter for my truck. any brands/names/companies that are good/bad to use? does the quality of the starter have to do with the pricing? i really dont care about the name/company of it, as of right now, pricing is the major hurdle

you get what you pay for. Higher price usually means better reliability. I had a python system on my old blazer. ($450 installed) Worked flawlessly for three years and was still working when I sold it.

I've had some good luck up here with the Astrostart brand of auto starters.

I had the dealer install a astro system also and it works great. Good range, auto shutoff, cold wx automatic start to keep engine warm. Works
