I have a 2001 dodge dakota 4+4 and when I put it in 4wd it grinds it will not go into 4lo some say hydrolic clutch in transfer case or chain has stretched anyone got any ideas

go to the 2nd gen dak forum and download the manual that is linked in a thread tacked to the top of the forum, will give you great info on your truck. when you go to put it into 4Lo, are you having it in neutral? You might try going into 4wd hi 1st, then down into 4wd lo...
