Default Heater motor resistor?

Can anyone tell me how to check the resistor to see if it is faulty? My heater fan does not work at all on any speed. I've checked the fuses and relays and everything seems fine there.

I'm now sure how you test it, but my buddy just replaced his in his Durango. Part was like $14 and it took him maybe 10 minutes to replace.

if the resistor is bad, you usually still have high speed blower, but ive seen all speeds go. try tapping the bottom of the blower motor to see if maybe its binding or stuck.

If you are familiar with an ohm meter you can use that to check it. It will tell you if one of the resistor circuits is open.
