Default Dakota Hood

Hi guys, recently i've been looking around at some dakotas on the web and seen a few people have the "viper" hood. I own a 98 Dakota Sport 5.2L V8. I put on those fake hood scoops, which were just for the looks. But now I want to upgrade to the viper hood and also get the cold air intake. Does anyone know where exactly to but this hood? Online or what store you went to?

Thanks

Hey thanks

Also I just have one other question. Its been bugging me for the past while. When I put the truck in reverse, the back-up lights don't come on. They used to before, but i'd really have to wiggle the shifter and pull down almost to the point where im in "N". Does anybody have any ideas on how to fix this problem, or where to start at?

Sounds like the "Neutral Safety Switch". Is your Dakota Automatic or Stick? Usually a bad safety switch will cause problems with starting (have to fiddle around with the shifter to find the spot to engage starter), so you might just have a "loose nut" or adjustment issue.

You may get better responses if you post the question on a new thread, titled "Help - Backup Light doesn't work".

The link above points to a retailer which sells the Keystone Restyling "Good Hoods".

Here's an information link that shows all of the hoods available for the Dodge Dakota/Durango. Once you find the hood you like the most you'll be able to find a vendor by searching threads on this site or Google.
