Greetings folks!
I may be acquiring a smashed 2Dr, '94 Dakota Sport (guy hit a telephone pole). The entire front end is damaged. I'm going to need two fenders, bumper, grill-- the works.

My question is regarding the body style of this unit.

What years will have the same front end as this '94?

I'm going to call junkyard and see if I can't get my hands on an entire parts truck but I need to understand what will and won't work first.

Damn that sucks. Do you have any pics? 92-96 the body style. Only sports have colord grills. The rest are chrome. Try posting under the 1st gen dakotas.

It's a dakota"sport" which differs it from the dakota,how?? They both have the 3.9L, right (didn't get under there because i haven't bought it yet)? ...and regardless if it'sa sport or not,the front end is the same, correct (minusthe grills of course)?

 

Ya everything will bolt up. The Sports is just a trim package. nothing differnt expet the color on grill and bumpers. The rest have chrome. But everything will bolt up chrome or not.

 

Thanks! I still don't know if i'm going to pick it up....i may bid $600 on it....if the frames bent i'm screwed!

 

Alright, I checked it out more thorough today. Two things I didn't notice before-
one, the guy hit the pole so hard it actually sent recoil through the entire front end, enough to put a crack in the windshield, which was a major sign the frame is probably bent.
two,the pumpkin head is shoved to the right side underneath.

This truck is f**ed. The only thing it would be good for is it's interior,or maybe the motor if I had another one. It's a shame.
