So if you've ever been looking for xenon's on e-bay and wanted to see if they were worth it. DON'T. I didn't get the ballast and the whole setup, but I tryed a pair of those xenon gas filled bulbs. Lasted about 1month before they started to fade then they just blew out. It only cost 5$for the bulbs, they looked good at first. But very short life span. I'll just switch back to the PIAA's

 

Those are basically just colored bulbs. Everyone gets them because they make their cars look like they have HID lights, which anyone can tell they don't. I had a set on my old SUV, and like you mentioned, they sucked.

 

Yeah, it was a big waste of money. But oh well, live and learn.

 

thats why i'll stick with silverstar ultras until i put actual HIDs in

 

Yeah so far I got silverstars for high and PIAA's for low. Way better then the fake xenon's. Sure as hell last alot longer
