Default Shift ****

Hey guys, ordered a chrome shift ****, got it in a few days ago. My only problem is getting the old one off. There arent any screws, I have tried twisting it, I even tried pulling it off, but nothing. Whats the deal here, can anyone help?

dumb question here, but you spun it counter clockwise correct? and
double check for a tiny set screw, just because the new one doesnt have
one, doesnt mean the stock one wont either. good luck

Take a small screwdriver and pop off the shift pattern, underneath is a nut.</P>
