i have a 99 dodge dakota with a magnaflow muffler. i cut out the catalytic converter and put it back on but now my check engine light is on. what do i need to do to get it to go off so i can pass inspections? do i need to put a sim. o2 sensor on it? i have two sensors on it, one right after the headers on the y pipe and then one after the converter. What do i need to do?

 

i believe you can disconect the pos. battery terminal for 15-20 mins and it will reset, being that you have th cat installed again it should clear it up
